FAQ
Common Questions
How long does a full service take?
Most services take 2–6 weeks depending on complexity and parts availability. Vintage watches or those requiring rare parts may take longer. Rush service is available for an additional fee — contact us to discuss your timeline.
Do you service watches under manufacturer warranty?
We recommend servicing under-warranty watches through the manufacturer to preserve your warranty. However, if your warranty has expired or you prefer an independent watchmaker, we provide the same quality of service at significantly lower cost than brand service centers.
How should I ship my watch for mail-in service?
Remove the bracelet if possible and pack the watch in a padded box inside a hard case. Ship via FedEx or UPS with declared value insurance equal to the watch's replacement value. Never use USPS for high-value timepieces. We provide detailed packing instructions with every mail-in request.
What is your warranty on service work?
All service work carries a 1-year warranty covering workmanship and parts we supply. If any issue arises from our service within 12 months, we will correct it at no charge. This does not cover damage from accidental impact, water exposure beyond the rated depth, or normal wear.
Can you source original manufacturer parts?
Yes. We maintain relationships with authorized parts suppliers for most major brands. For vintage pieces, we source period-correct NOS (new old stock) parts whenever possible. We will always advise you on part availability and options before proceeding.
How do you handle water-damaged watches?
Time is critical with water damage. Contact us immediately at (213) 623-1456. We prioritize water damage cases and begin moisture extraction within 24 hours of receiving your watch. We perform full movement decontamination, corrosion treatment, seal replacement, and pressure testing.
Do you provide a service report?
Yes. Every watch receives a comprehensive written service report detailing work performed, parts replaced, timing measurements before and after service, and water resistance test results. This documentation is valuable for insurance purposes and maintains your watch's service history.
Where are you located?
Our studio is located at 606 South Olive Street, Suite 2115, Los Angeles, CA 90014 — in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. We are open Monday through Thursday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed Saturday and Sunday PST.
